What's in each serving?

Each serving has a 10.75" thali, two 3.5" bowls, a 4.25" sweet-dish plate, a 4" glass and a spoon. Choose the 6-piece set for one person or the 36-piece set for a family of six.

Is the matte finish a coating? Will it wear off?

No. The matte texture is brushed into the steel itself, not painted or coated on, so there's nothing to chip or peel.

Does the matte finish show fingerprints or water marks?

It can, like most matte steel. A quick wipe with a soft dry cloth removes them. Drying the pieces right after washing keeps them looking their best.

Can I use it in the microwave?

No. Steel is a metal and isn't microwave safe. Heat food in a microwave-safe container and serve it in these.

Is it dishwasher safe?

Yes. Take the pieces out and dry them soon after the cycle ends to avoid water spots.

I see small brown spots. Is it rusting?

Usually not. Small spots generally come from minerals in hard water or food left standing on the steel. Rub them off with a baking soda paste, rinse and dry.
